Rick Elliott

Rick Elliott is the President of Elliott Group and has steered the agency with vision and dedication for nearly four decades. His journey in the insurance world began in 1984 when he joined his father’s agency. Initially, Rick specialized in crop insurance, but he quickly expanded his expertise to cover all lines of Property & Casualty Insurance. By 1997, his leadership skills were further recognized as he took on the role of managing the agency. Over the last 25 years under his guidance, the agency has seen tenfold growth and has earned a reputation in the industry for doing things the right way. Rick firmly believes that by prioritizing customers, taking care of team members, and maintaining fairness with carrier partners, all other aspects of the business will naturally fall into place.

Beyond the walls of Elliott Group, Rick has made significant contributions to both the community he lives in as well as the broader insurance industry. In his community, he has held notable leadership roles, such as the President of the Chamber of Commerce, the President of the Louisburg Area Recreation Association, and the President of the Paola Rotary Club. He has also leveraged his financial expertise to serve as the Treasurer of his local church. Within the insurance sector, Rick has made meaningful contributions as the President of the Kansas Association of Insurance Agents and Brokers and the Chairman of the Combined Agents of America (CAA). His expertise is further recognized through his active participation on various insurance company advisory boards.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Rick enjoys tending to his rural acreage, ensuring it projects an inviting and welcoming atmosphere to all. Rick and his wife, Kathy, value their family time, particularly the moments they share with their five grandchildren.
