Rick Elliott
Owner & President

Rick started working in the agency in 1984 selling and servicing crop insurance accounts. He moved into the property and casualty business in 1987. Rick later moved to management and became the president of the agency in 1997.
Rick is married to Kathy and they have two kids. Lindsey attends the Pittsburg State University and Brock attends Johnson County Community College. The family lives on a small ranch between Louisburg and Paola.
Rick loves to work outside doing landscaping, building something in his shop, or working on their small cattle ranch. He loves to exercise and tries to stay in shape. He also enjoys playing a little golf, although he admits he is not very good at it.
Rick has been active in both the Louisburg and Paola communities where he served as president of the Chamber of Commerce, the president of the Paola Rotary Club, and the president of the Louisburg Area Recreation Association, for which he coached baseball and softball while his kids were playing.
He has also been involved with the Kansas Association of Insurance Agents for many years. He was the president of the Young Agents Council in 1997 and is serving as President of the organization in 2008-09.
Rick has continued to grow EIG on his father's principles of customer service - to exceed the customers' expectations and to work hard for your customers.

Del Rae McCullough
Vice President/Director of Agency Operations

Del Rae began her insurance career in 1980 and joined Elliott Insurance Group in 1994. She has her Certified Insurance Counselor designation and is currently working towards obtaining a designation as Certified Risk Manager. She primarily facilitates the sales team with commercial business.
Del Rae is married to Chris, who is also in sales, and they have two daughters. Their oldest, Christen, is married and she is a coach and math teacher. Brittany, their youngest, is attending Ottawa University pursuing a major in vocal music. Del Rae and Chris's retirement plan is that someday Brittany will become famous and take care of her parents. Besides their two children, they have 3 dogs that are considered children as well.
Del Rae, Chris, and Brittany live in Southern Johnson County.
The family enjoys traveling, especially cruises, and try to go once a year. They are very active in their church, First Baptist of Olathe.

Jay Hastert

Jay joined Elliott Insurance Group in October, 2007 as a producer for personal and commercial lines. Prior to joining EIG, Jay was a school business manager for 20 years and chief financial officer for Crabtree Harmon Transportation for 4 years. He is a graduate of Emporia State University with a major in Business Administration.
Jay is married to Amy, who is an elementary school principal. Amy and Jay have three children. The family enjoys traveling, snow skiing and outdoor activities.
Jay's interests include hunting, fishing, golfing, and being outdoors.

Sue Knop

Sue Elliott Knop returned to Elliott Insurance in 2001. She specializes in Commercial Lines and also has experience with Farm/Ranch business. Sue obtained her CISR designation in 2004.
Sue is married to Wayne Knop and lives south of Louisburg. They are 2 married sons and 5 grandchildren. She loves spending time with her grandkids and family, and going to auctions.
Sue is active in the community. She has served as President of the Chamber of Commerce twice, is on the Board of Directors for the Louisburg Rotary Club, part of the Women's American Auxiliary and a member of the First Baptist Church of Louisburg.
Sue follows in her father's footsteps in the insurance business, where customer service always comes first.

Michelle joined EIG in June of 2006. She began her insurance career with American Family in 2001 and obtained her CISR designation in 2008. She is currently a Customer Service Representative for commercial business. Michelle graduated from Missouri Western State University with a BSBA degree in Marketing and Management.

Natalie Watts

Natalie joined EIG in April of 1997. She is currently a Customer Service Representative for Personal, Farm and Commercial clients. Natalie obtained her CISR designation in 2004 and her AFIS designation in 2006.
Natalie is married to John and live outside of Paola where they raise cattle. They have a daughter, Haley, who is a K-State grad and an elementary teacher.
Natalie enjoys spending time with her family & friends, traveling, reading and crafts.

Crista joined Elliott Insurance Group in 2007 and currently services personal and commercial lines accounts. She recieved her CISR designation in 2010. Crista was born and raised in Miami County.

Sharon Prothe

Sharon started her career with Elliott Insurance in the Paola office in 1986. After several years as a customer service representative, she transferred to the Louisburg office to become part of the internal operations workforce. She is currently working in the Agency Services and Operations department as the systems manager.
Sharon is married to Jim who is a construction engineer for KCP&L. They live on a farm outside of Paola. Jim and Sharon have two grown daughters and a new grandson they adore. In their spare time they enjoy KSU sports, traveling, great friends, and their involvement in their church.

Melvin Kueser

Melvin was born and raised in Louisburg, Kansas, and has been a life-long resident of Miami County. He and his wife Lutisha (Tish) were married in 1986, and have twin sons, Caleb and Colton, who are both currently attending Kansas State University.
Melvin began his insurance career in 1983 at the corporate office of Farmers Insurance, and came to the Louisburg branch of Elliott Insurance in 1986 as bookkeeper. He has held many positions within the agency including Commercial Lines CSR, Head of Technology, Office Manager, and currently serves as our Chief Financial Officer and Bond Specialist. He has seen many changes over his years with EIG, and was instrumental in implementing the conversion of our customer and accounting files from manual to automated records.
Melvin loves spending time with his family and friends, has a passion for travel, and enjoys reading in his spare time. He says he has always had an interest in painting, and hopes to take up that hobby soon.

Megan Long
Bond Specialist - Life and Health Agent

Megan joined Elliott Insurance Group in October of 2000 as the front office receptionist. She quickly moved into the Personal Lines Representative position. In 2002, the Agency Services & Operations branch was formed and Megan joined the team as the personal lines processor. In January 2011, Megan obtained her Life and Health Licenses. In addition to doing the personal lines processing, Megan is our Life Agent as well as our Bond Specialist.
Megan and her husband Sam currently live in Louisburg with their son, Briar.
Megan enjoys spending time with her family, landscape photography, and reading.

Kim Burk
Commercial Processing Center Specialist

Kim joined Elliott Insurance Group in September of 2003 as receptionist for the Louisburg office. She obtained her Property/Casualty insurance license later that year and earned her CISR designation in 2005. She currently handles processing for all commercial business for the agency as well as training for all employees.
Kim was born and raised in Hutchinson, Kansas. She graduated from Hutchinson Community College in 2002 with an Associates degree in Accounting.
In 2003 she moved to Louisburg where she currently lives with her husband Jason and their 2 young daughters.
Kim's hobbies include reading, scrap booking, and spending time with her family.

Ron joined Elliot Insurance Group in 2011 as a Commercial, Life & Health Lines Producer. He is licensed to provide Auto, Home, Business and Individual Insurance in Kansas, Missouri and Indiana. Ron has been in sales since 1996.
Ron is very active in his local church where he is a part of the Praise and Worship Team and serves on several committees. His ministerial studies provide the foundation for his partnership with many churches in the area, offering them solutions based on Biblical principals. Ron specializes in providing churches quality property, liability and workers compensation insurance coverage, custom designed to help churches and related ministries do their work safely and effectively.
Ron lives in Paola with his wife Tammy who is the Marketing Director at Life Care Center in Osawatomie. Their daughter Tamron attends school in Paola and their two boys, Britt and Rustin, attend Mid America Nazarene University. He enjoys spending his free time with his family, golfing, hunting and fishing.

Charlie joined EIG in 2004 where he specializes in Commercial and Farm & Ranch business. He graduated from Wichita State University in 1977 and began his insurance career in 1981. He received his CIC designation in 1990 and takes continuing education classes each year to retain that designation.

Nancy began her insurance career in 1974 working in her father's insurance agency, Herb Achey Insurance, which became Morris & Associates Insurance. She joined Elliott Insurance Group in September of 2006 and obtained her CISR designation in 2010. She is a Customer Service Representative for personal lines.
Nancy lives in Paola and has 3 children and 1 grandchild who she enjoys spending time with. She enjoys traveling, great friends. Kansas Basketball, and, most of all, playing with her grandson.

Jo Erin began her insurance career as a crop insurance underwriter with Great American Insurance before joining EIG in 2004 as a crop specialist. In 2005, she became the branch manager of the Paola office. She currently services crop, commercial and farm customers.
Jo Erin and her husband Adam have one child. Adam and Jo Erin live in Bucyrus where they have cattle and pigs.
Jo Erin is a graduate of Pittsburg State University, where she majored in Public Relations. She is currently on the Young Agents Committee for the Kansas Association of Insurance Agents.

Mark joined the Elliott Insurance Group in July of 2007 specializing in Farm and Agribusiness insurance. For the past five years he has been involved in the insurance business, selling personal lines insurance.
Mark lives in Paola and has three children: Morgan, Blake, and Cade. He enjoys spending time with them and watching them in all their activities.
When not working, Mark loves to team rope and compete in rodeos throughout the Midwest.

Stella joined EIG in 2011 as a Customer Service Representative for commercial business. She began her insurance career in 2000 at Universal Underwriters (Zurich) in Overland Park. In 2007 she made the move to a small independent agency, closer to home. There she handled the agency operations and accounting, as well as, commercial, farm and personal lines insurance. Stella earned her CISR designation in 2010.
Stella moved to eastern Kansas with her husband, Steve, in 1993. They live in rural Linn County with their three children and are active in their local church.

As a graduate of the University of Kansas and holder of a Doctorate of Musical Arts Degree, Bill's affiliation with the agency began in 1981. Since that time and under his leadership, the Anderson Peck Agency has developed into one of Topeka's premier Independent Insurance Agencies.
In 1994, Bill was honored by the Kansas Insurance Association and the 1752 Club as their Kansas Agent of the Year. In 1999, he received the Hunter Advocacy Award from the Child Care Providers Coalition of Kansas. He is currently on the Board of Directors of the Sunflower Music Festival and Topeka Community Concert Association as well as the Kansas Children's Discovery Center. He has also served on the Agents Advisory Boards of several insurance companies and is active in many Church and Community activities.

Ed Peck a native of Topeka, began his insurance career in 1963 as an inspector for the Topeka Inspection Bureau. After a 22 year involvement with another Topeka Independent Insurance Agency, he joined forces with Bill Anderson in 1990 to form the Anderson Peck Agency.
Ed is actively involved, if only on a part time basis, in the operation of his farm. He has also developed a special dividend insurance program for Kansas Rural Water Districts.
He currently serves as Treasurer of Tecumseh Township, and is a member of the Topeka-Tecumseh Fire District Board as well as being active in his Church and Community.

The travel agency was awarded the Small Business of the Year Award by the Greater Topeka Chamber of Commerce. In 1996 he entered the insurance industry specializing in Long Term Care, Life and Annuities. Desiring to increase the products he could offer his clients, he became licensed to also market business insurance and personal lines such as homeowners and auto.
